The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce is taking bold steps to Dream Big in 2022.  

#1 Establish Intentional Pathways for a New Era of Work

To thrive in a rapidly changing world, young people need a dynamic competitive advantage in their education and career journey. It’s time to shift the paradigm in education, workforce and economic development and make students career ready, period. 


The College and Career Readiness Committee will be focusing on these projects:

  • Lead the adoption of a Student Aptitude Tool used by school districts throughout the Tri-County area.
  • Provide employers with a talent database for connecting with prospective employees.
  • Develop career education programming for parents/mentors.
  • Collaborate with new partners.

#2 To Develop An Aspiring Community of Young Leaders

The Orrville Area Young Professionals seeks to inspire, connect and grow young leaders in the greater Orrville Area.

There are many challenges facing business owners in 2022.  The Chamber is focused on being an essential resource for our members, connecting them with the resources they need to achieve the goals they have for their businesses.

  • Roundtables
  • Resource Hub
  • Recorded Webinars
  • Mind Your Business Lunch and Learn Series (Quarterly)

#4  Workplace Health and Wellness

Workplace wellness starts with creating a culture that champions employee health and quality of life.  The Workplace Wellness Committee will be coordinating the following initiatives in 2022 to support employer wellness efforts.

  • Health and Wellness Education (Quarterly)
  • Net Walking (Monthly)
  • Spotlight on Healthy Workplace Habits
  • Health and Safety Fair (June 8)

The culture of the Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce is to be innovative, collaborative and where member relationships are valued.  Members have access to an online member community that provides 24/7 access to engage, network and participate in meaningful conversations.
